Tiantong Satellite Communication is a satellite mobile communication system independently developed and constructed by China. It is developed by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation and is planned to provide all-weather, all-time, stable and reliable mobile communication services such as voice, short messaging, and data for users in China and surrounding areas, the Middle East, Africa, as well as the majority of the Pacific and Indian Ocean sea areas. The system includes multiple satellites such as Tiantong-1 01, Tiantong-1 02, Tiantong-1 03, as well as ground control stations and user terminals. Tiantong Satellite Communication can interconnect and communicate with existing mobile communication networks, achieving seamless coverage, and is widely used in applications such as marine fishing, emergency rescue, tourism exploration, and the Internet of Things.
